George Orwell wrote many books during is life and in this review i am going to make a comparison between ‘Animal Farm’ and ‘1984’ that are two masterpiece for the english literature In both of his books George Orwell creates two similar societies attempting to achieve perfection through tyranny but the environment of each is different. In Animal Farm the environment is static because it is on a farm. individual technology wise. It uses technology in order to watch everything the individual does, so the In 1984, the government controlled the individual will not rebel Both books contain a world full of three classes: high, middle and low In Animal Farm, the high class are humans, the middle class are the rebellious animals and the lower class are the others animals. In 1984 the high class is the government, the middle class is the police and lower class is the citizens
A difference is that Animal farms was based on Stalin and Russian Revolution whereas 1984 was based on the world wars and Hitler About the characters we can nd some similarities but also differences. In 1984 we had our main character Winston Smith who does not agree with the rules and wants to rebel whereas in Animal Farm we have the pigs who want to take control of the farm. All animals are sick of the way that Jones treats them and they decide to rebel. So in both books the main character both attempt to rebel In conclusion, these two books are two masterpieces and still relevant above all for the condition of Russia in recent months
