Is English important as a global language?
We can easily say that English is the most used and the most spoken language in the word. !
I think that the reasons because this happens are mainly the accessibility and the constant
contact that almost everyone has with this particular language: everyday we are surrounded with
people that express themselves with English or that however use, even casually, some
terminology that clearly comes from this language and that is blended in many everyday and
common speeches. It can also be said that this happens because English is a really immediate
and easy language, that can be learnt really fast if it’s practiced frequently.!
Because of these reasons it’s easy to say that English is so important: it’s a common opportunity
that people have to connect and to understand each others, without having the obligation to
know every single language in the word.!
It is really the key that we have to understand different cultures besides ours and more in general
to try to connect with different realities, different ways of thinking and more in general with the
diversity of life itself.!
People are various under many aspects and because of that is safe to say that if something so
important as the way that we can use to express ourselves can be shared and used in the same
way by so many humans, then we can also have the opportunity to see how we aren’t as different
as we think we are.
