Yes, I do! I enjoy staying active, especially running and sometimes going to the gym. I think sports are a great way to keep fit and clear my mind. DO YOU PREFER WATCHING SPORTS OR PARTICIPATING IN THEM? I really enjoy watching sports, especially if there's an exciting game or a big event. But in the end, I prefer participating in sports because it gives me a sense of accomplishment and energy that watching can’t quite match. It’s a great way to distract myself and improve my skills. Team sports like football are amazing because of the sense of community and collaboration. But individual sports like boxing have their own appeal too, because you’re testing yourself alone, and all the responsibility is on you. So, I’d say I enjoy both, but for different reasons. SUPPORTERS CAN BECOME QUITE VIOLENT, ESPECIALLY DURING FOOTBALL MATCHES. WHAT DO YOU THINK SHOULD BE DONE TO STOP THIS VIOLENCE? I think fan violence is unacceptable, and unfortunately, it’s been an issue for a long time. There needs to be more control and harsher penalties for those causing trouble, like banning them from stadiums or implementing stricter fines. But above all, I think educating fans to respect the game and each other is key. Sportsmanship and fair play need to be promoted more, and institutions, teams, and media should do more to raise awareness about it. SOME SAY BOXING IS A VERY VIOLENT SPORT. DO YOU AGREE? Yes, boxing is a violent sport, but it’s also a regulated one with specific rules in place to ensure the safety of the fighters. I think it requires a lot of technique, discipline, and strategy, but the violence involved is part of what makes it so intense. It’s not for everyone, but if done properly and with respect, it can be an expression of strength and determination. POLO IS AN EXCITING SPORT, BUT IT CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS, BOTH FOR THE PLAYERS AND FOR THE HORSES. SHOULD IT BE BANNED? No, I don’t think polo should be banned. While it's true that polo can be dangerous, like many other contact sports, it comes with inherent risks. However, with proper safety measures, training, and regulations, the risks can be minimized. Instead of banning it, I believe we should focus on making the sport safer for both players and horses. HAVE YOU EVER EXPERIENCED A SPORTS INJURY? Yes, I’ve had a sports injury before. I once pulled a muscle while running, and I had to take a break for a few weeks to recover. It was frustrating, but it taught me how important it is to listen to your body and not push yourself too hard. SKIING CAN BE A DANGEROUS SPORT, AND PEOPLE OFTEN DO NOT PAY ATTENTION ON THE SLOPES. WHAT SHOULD BE DONE TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS? I think safety on the slopes should be a top priority. I think Bonfire Night is the most interesting. It's a celebration full of history, with fireworks, bonfires, and a real sense of community. It marks the failed Gunpowder Plot, which adds a touch of drama and intrigue to the whole event. I love how people come together to celebrate with such energy and excitement. I think it’s because the Celts had a very strong connection with nature and the cycles of the seasons, which influenced many of their festivals. Over time, these traditions evolved, but the roots are still there, which is why we see so many Celtic influences in modern British celebrations. For some people, it's a great occasion to come together and celebrate, while for others, it might be a more low-key event. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE CELEBRATION? My favourite celebration is definitely Christmas. I love the whole festive atmosphere—decorating the tree, exchanging gifts, spending time with family and friends, and of course, enjoying delicious food! It’s such a warm and joyful time of the year, and I always look forward to it. ST. VALENTINE’S DAY IS A DAY DEDICATED TO THOSE WHO LOVE EACH OTHER. HOW DO YOU USUALLY CELEBRATE IT? For me, Valentine's Day is just like any other day. After what I went through with my ex-boyfriend, I can't look at this day with the same enthusiasm that many others might feel. I suffered psychological abuse, and because of that relationship, I now struggle with depression. It's hard even to leave the house, let alone celebrate love. To me, love has become something complicated, something that caused me a lot of pain. Today, I prefer to focus on healing and working through the pain, one day at a time. CHEESE ROLLING IS A DANGEROUS SPRING BANK HOLIDAY ACTIVITY DONE ON COOPER’S HILL, IN GLOUCESTERSHIRE. WOULD YOU LIKE TO TRY IT? Honestly, it sounds like an exciting challenge, but I’m not sure I’d have the courage to try it! The idea of chasing a wheel of cheese down a hill at full speed sounds pretty intense, and I’m not sure I’m brave enough to risk it. DO YOU HAVE BONFIRES IN YOUR COUNTRY? Yes, we do have bonfires, especially during New Year's Eve and some summer festivals. There’s something magical about sitting around a fire with friends and family, chatting, roasting marshmallows, and enjoying the warmth. It’s a tradition that brings people together and creates a cozy atmosphere. FATHER’S DAY AND MOTHERING SUNDAY (MOTHER’S DAY) HONOUR OUR PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS. DO YOU CELEBRATE THESE FESTIVITIES, AND HOW? Yes, I celebrate both Father’s Day and Mother’s Day. On Mother’s Day , I usually surprise my mom with a homemade breakfast or a small thoughtful gift. For Father’s Day , I love to spend quality time with my dad—maybe going for a walk or sharing a nice meal together. It’s a way to show them how much I appreciate everything they do. In my country, some of the most popular celebrations are Christmas, Easter, and National Day. Christmas is celebrated with family gatherings, decorations, and exchanging gifts. Easter is important for its religious significance, and National Day is a time for patriotic celebrations and parades. HOW DO YOU USUALLY CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS (EASTER ETC.)? For Christmas, I spend the day with my family, decorating the house, exchanging gifts, and having a big festive meal together. I also
sightseeing, hiking on Mount Etna, or trying Sicilian food. It would be a great opportunity to create memories and share experiences. SICILIAN COOKING IS EXCELLENT. WOULD YOU ENJOY TASTING THE FOOD? Absolutely! I’ve heard so much about Sicilian cuisine, especially the pasta alla norma, arancini, and the fresh seafood. I would love to taste all of it, especially since Sicilian food has such a unique blend of flavors influenced by various cultures throughout history. I’m sure it would be an unforgettable experience! In my country, some of the most interesting places I've visited are Rome, for its ancient history and iconic landmarks like the Colosseum; Florence, for its incredible Renaissance art and architecture; and Venice, which is unique for its canals and romantic atmosphere. I also loved exploring Cinque Terre with its colorful coastal villages. IF YOU COULD CHOOSE THE COUNTRY TO TRAVEL TO, WHAT COUNTRY WOULD THAT BE? WHY? I would love to travel to Japan. I’m fascinated by its perfect blend of ancient traditions and modern technology. From visiting ancient temples in Kyoto to exploring Tokyo’s futuristic skyline, there’s so much to see. I'm also really curious about Japanese food and culture, which are so unique and interesting. IS IT NECESSARILY IMPORTANT TO SPEND MUCH MONEY WHEN ON HOLIDAY? Not necessarily. It’s absolutely possible to have an amazing holiday without spending a lot of money. With smart planning, such as staying in hostels, traveling in the off-season, or using public transportation, you can enjoy a great trip on a budget. It’s more about the experiences and memories you make, rather than how much you spend. WHAT ANNOYS YOU THE MOST, WHEN YOU ARE ON HOLIDAY? What annoys me the most is when places are overcrowded, especially during peak seasons. It can be hard to enjoy the sights when they’re full of tourists. I also dislike when services are not up to standard or when I struggle with language barriers. It can make things more stressful than relaxing. WHAT FEATURES OF YOUR HOLIDAY DO YOU ENJOY THE MOST? WHY? The feature I enjoy the most is exploring new places and immersing myself in local cultures. Whether it’s visiting historic sites, trying local food, or learning about the traditions of a place, I love how travel broadens my perspective and makes me feel connected to the world. It’s always exciting to discover something new! WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK IN THE TOURISM INDUSTRY? GIVE REASONS. Yes, I would love to work in the tourism industry. This could include eco-tourism, adventure tourism, or culinary tourism, which target specific interests and often offer more personalized experiences. DESCRIBE A TIME YOU HAD DIFFICULTIES AS A TOURIST. One time, I had difficulty finding my way around a city due to a lack of maps and poor signposting. I try to balance it with other activities, but sometimes I get caught up in it more than I should. HOW MUCH SLEEP DO YOU GET EVERY NIGHT? I usually get about 7-8 hours of sleep each night. DO MOST PEOPLE IN YOUR COUNTRY PREFER TRADITIONAL MEDICINE, MODERN MEDICINE OR A COMBINATION OF THE TWO? In my country, most people use a combination of both. Traditional medicine still plays an important role in some communities, especially for minor issues, while modern medicine is generally preferred for more serious health concerns. HAVE YOU EVER HAD TO GIVE FIRST AID TO A PERSON? AND IF SO, WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM? WHAT HAPPENED? Yes, I had to give First Aid once when a friend fainted at a party. I helped them lie down and elevated their legs to increase blood flow to the brain while we called for help. They recovered quickly after resting, and it was a reminder of the importance of staying calm in emergencies. DO YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE USING MEDICINE FROM A FOREIGN COUNTRY? WHY?/WHY NOT? Not really, as long as the medicine is from a trusted source and has been approved by health authorities. However, I would be more cautious about using it if I’m unfamiliar with its origin or if there are concerns about quality control. DO YOU TELL OTHER PEOPLE HOW TO LIVE A HEALTHIER LIFE? Yes, I do try to encourage my friends and family to live healthier lives, whether it’s by eating better or exercising more. But I always respect their choices and try not to be too pushy. If they prescribe something, I make sure to take it as directed. I believe in the importance of professional medical advice. IF YOU COULD FIND OUT THAT YOU WERE AT RISK TO GET A CERTAIN DISEASE, WOULD YOU WANT TO KNOW? Yes, I would want to know. Being aware of potential health risks would allow me to take preventive measures and make lifestyle changes to reduce the risk of developing that disease. FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHILD OBESITY. DO YOU THINK THIS IS TRUE, OR DO YOU BLAME THE PARENTS FOR ALLOWING THEIR CHILDREN TO EAT WHAT THEY LIKE? I think it's a combination of both. Fast food restaurants contribute by promoting unhealthy food options, but parents also play a crucial role in teaching their children healthy eating habits. Parents need to set boundaries and help children make better choices. HEALTH IS NOT VALUED TILL SICKNESS COMES. HOW TRUE IS THIS SAYING? I think it's very true. Many people take their health for granted and only realize its importance when they face a health problem. Prevention is key, but unfortunately, it's often only appreciated once it's too late. WE ARE WHAT WE EAT. AND IT IS SAID RED MEAT MAKES US MORE AGGRESSIVE. WHAT IS YOUR SAY IN THIS? I agree that our diet affects how we feel and behave. However, I think it's an exaggeration to say that red meat directly makes us more aggressive. A balanced diet is important for overall health, but aggression is influenced by many factors, not just food. ALCOHOL ADVERTISEMENTS MUST BE WITHDRAWN FROM TELEVISION. THERE ARE TOO MANY AND YOUNG PEOPLE ESPECIALLY CAN BE INFLUENCED. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD PROHIBIT THE MEDIA FROM BROADCASTING THIS KIND OF ADVERTISEMENT. I agree that alcohol ads should be more regulated because they can influence young people. While I don't think they should be completely banned, stricter guidelines could help ensure that these ads are not targeting vulnerable audiences. SLEEP IS A HEALING BALM FOR EVERY ILLNESS. I believe sleep is incredibly important for recovery, both physically and mentally. It might not cure all illnesses, but a good night’s sleep helps the body heal and gives the mind the rest it needs to function well.
