Alumni Profile
Name: Bradley Fox
Years at Montsaye Academy: 2007-2014
A-Levels Studied: History, Sociology and Business Studies
Destination:
Since leaving Montsaye in 2014, I headed off to study Business
Management and Marketing at Nottingham Trent University
(NTU). During my degree I got to engage with large organisations
across the country, working with other students consulting on improvements. I even got the
opportunity to study in Toulouse, France for 3 weeks, which the university paid for.
I graduated in 2017 with a 2:1. Following this, I then completed my Master’s degree in MSc
Advertising & Branding, graduating with a Distinction. This was a great experience, as I got to
work with students from around 50 different countries, again working on projects which
helped myself and local organisations.
Since then, I have been elected as the President of the Nottingham Trent Students’ Union.
This is my role until June 2020, and in this I represent and enhance the university experience
of around 32,000 students. This role allows me to meet Government officials and leaders of
other industries, whilst driving change at the head of the Students’ Union, which turns over
£5 million a year.”
What’s next?
Once his tenure as President of the Nottingham Trent Students’ Union comes to an end,
Bradley is looking to complete a further 18-month course in University Leadership, which will
allow him to take up a role in university management in the future. “I have enjoyed my time
at Nottingham Trent, both as a student and as an employee, so much. I can’t see myself
working in any other industry or sector. University management is definitely where my future
lies.”
Montsaye Memories:
Bradley says, “Montsaye helped me realise my full potential, and I look back on my time there
as a real positive. I engaged in all the right things. Montsaye taught me that you get out what
you put in, and that if you put your mind to it then you can do what you want. It also made
me realise, that regardless of what school or background you are from, you can go to
University and have the best experience of your life. I wish I could do it all over again!
