RATIONALE: Description of the project:
Optaciano Hilay National High School recognizes the pressing need to address the growing waste
management issue within the school premises. The proper disposal of waste is essential for maintaining a
clean and healthy environment conducive to learning. The installation of 17 Trash Bin Steel Rack aligns
with the school's commitment to environmental sustainability and instills a sense of responsibility among
students for waste reduction and proper waste disposal.

Objectives:
1. Improve Waste Management: Enhance the waste management system within the school by providing
efficient and designated metal garbage holders.
2.Environmental Awareness: Raise awareness among students about the importance of proper waste
disposal and its impact on the environment.
3. Promote Sustainable Practices: Encourage the adoption of sustainable practices within the school community,
fostering a culture of environmental responsibility
Expected Output:
Installed 17 Units Trash Bin Steel Rack
Output Indicator/s (including quantity): Successfully installed 15 Metal Garbage Holders in
different areas of OHNHS (11 classrooms, 4 offices, 1 gymnasium, 1 gate area)
