Quine-McCluskey Method
•Up until now, all methods of minimization we
have used were practical for a small number of
variables. For example, the KM was practical for
at most 6 variable functions.
•For functions of a larger number of variables, we
need method that can be applied to computer
based minimization.
•In principle, QM methods is a systematic way for
Boolean expression simplification that can be
applied to an arbitrary large number of inputs
