Job Description
Computer Science Intern
The Supply Depot is an $80 billion business-focused environment where you can contribute in a
variety of functional areas covering all aspects of the consumer value chain. We are currently
managing leading software packages and technology platforms to deliver creative results to our
business partners and customers.
We are seeking a Computer Science intern who understands how best to apply technologies to
solve problems and develop innovative solutions. In this position, you can expect to work closely
with peer developers, designers and project managers to quickly generate and collaborate on project
designs. You will then collaborate with senior leaders to help define the overall architecture of the
product in order to implement high quality code.
Responsibilities
Gain proficiency in at least one programming language/development skill set by developing
code or writing programs for small-scale projects within assigned technical area based on
business requirements documents and/or technical design documents.
Identify and prepare solutions by determining and designing system specifications,
standards, and programming.
Document and demonstrate solutions through the development of documentation,
flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Follow the established processes, policies, standards and procedures to assure compliance
with corporate and regulatory policies and standards.
Qualifications
Junior or Senior who is currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Computer Science or
any other IT pathway of study
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook) skill and proficiency are
critical
Excellent communication skills, self-starter and ability to operate in a team environment are
essential
Excellent collaboration skills and ability to be adaptable and agile throughout development
process
Love for creating something out of nothing and solving problems
Demonstrated passion for building great end-user experiences
Understanding of standard web frameworks and languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
Python)
Experience with at least one of the following languages: C#, C, C++, Java
