Main body 1.1 Different communication styles and formats. 1.1.1 The definition of communication
Communication is the process of conveying messages between parties through different media and channels. According to Aristotle, communication was
described as a form of characteristics, pathogens and symbolism. So what are characteristics, pathogens and symbolism? And what do they mean in
communication? (Wiseman, 2020)
Characteristics: This is how we present ourselves through our gestures, words, and actions. This involves building trust and credibility with others.
Pathogens: Aristotle uses this term to indicate that each message can carry a deep or hidden meaning that is not always apparent from words or actions.
Symbolism: Communication is also the use of symbols, such as images, sounds, or notation, to convey meaning.
Wiseman (2020) also said that communication is also how we build relationships, convey messages, and create understanding. It's important that someone
listens to you because your message may bring value, information, or emotion to them. When you communicate your message, it's important to use logic and
emotion together to connect with your audience. You can use media such as words, images, videos, or even physical.
There are 4 basic types of communication: non-verbal communication, language communication, verbal communication and spatial communication, but in this
report we only learn about two types of language:
Verbal communication: Speaking.
Non-verbal communication: Expressions to convey meaning and create an impression.
In addition, verbal communication also includes elements such as gestures, facial expressions and tone of voice, which can all influence how the message is
understood and perceived by the listener.
There are two types of verbal communication:
Direct verbal communication: This is the type of communication where the message is conveyed through direct speech between parties. These can be
conversations, speeches, or verbal interactions in everyday situations.
Indirect verbal communication: This is a type of communication where the message is conveyed through an intermediary medium, such as a phone call,
video call, or audio recording. Although not as direct as face-to-face communication, indirect verbal communication still allows meaning and messages to
be conveyed through words.

1.1.3 Non-verbal communication
Non-verbal communication, also known as body language, is the process of sending and receiving messages without the use of words, either by speaking or
writing. Similar to how italics emphasize written text, nonverbal behavior can emphasize parts of a spoken message. (Nordquist, 2020)
There are 3 types of non-verbal communication:
Body communication: Body communication uses gestures, facial expressions, and body movements to convey meaning. Examples include the use of hand
gestures, such as pointing, nodding, or shaking the head, and facial expressions such as smiling, frowning, or emphasizing.
Spatial communication: Spatial communication involves the use of physical space and surroundings to convey messages. This may include the
arrangement of space, the distance between individuals, and how furniture or decoration in a space.
Musical and visual communication: This type of communication uses music, images, colors, and other visual elements to convey meaning. Examples
include the use of music to create emotion in a movie or the use of visuals to convey ideas in an advertisement.

Because the Assignment was assigned near Tet and the group had just been established not long ago, it caused difficulties in verbal communication. Because it's
Tet, our group is quite busy so we don't have time to meet each other to talk and exchange ideas. The group leader (Dang Ngoc Son) divided the work into 5
different parts for us to do and sent it to the group for us to review together and give our opinions on whether anything needs to be corrected or added.
Because our group was just established not long ago, and also during Tet, everyone is quite busy. Our group is quite quiet and quiet, so we only text via Messenger,
Zalo, email or meet each other on computers and phones to exchange ideas. Because this way helps us save valuable time and eliminate geographical distance.
However, this approach has some drawback: network connection can be unstable, difficult to manage, and less dynamic.

Figure 1.2.1- 1 : Time management skill
Time management is the planning process to control the time spent on one or several specific activities with the aim of increasing efficiency, effectiveness, and
productivity. Simply put, time management skills are the division and arrangement of tasks within a certain time to optimize work performance.
Time management skills play an important role in evaluating work efficiency. Most results will evaluate the level of achievement within a limited amount
of time, not based on early or late completion time.
With the same amount of work and time, there are people who complete the work with the best results while there are people who cannot complete the
work and miss the deadline. Therefore, time management and work organization skills are key factors to create success and advancement at work.
1.2.1.2 The Importance of Time Management
Below is the importance of time management: (Anon., 2019)
Doesn't take too much effort: Understanding time management means you will get more done in a short period of time. This will prioritize and process
tasks without taking too much effort and leaving plenty of time. Let's calculate, if you have 1 extra hour by using your time effectively, then there are 250
hours of extra work per year, right?
Helps work get done well and life is more meaningful: It will be very annoying when you spend a whole day dedicated to working but it is not effective.
Completing good work will motivate you to work. By consciously using your time and organizing it scientifically, you will complete your tasks easily and
find your life more meaningful.
