INTRODUCTION
Listening seems to be the most daunting skills, for every student for all grade levels. With that, it
might be harder for the student to learn and practice listening skill, if there we’re be no proper
materials to used. Developing a materials for listening skills is a big help; most especially that; most
of the student are more likely to learn if they saw and hear the lesson. Along with that, it can also
improve their alertness, speak quickly as well as gain the general meaning of something according
to what they have heard, or noticed from the given lesson of the teacher also with the help of
materials for listening skills. Prior to that, the teacher must be very creative, and resourceful in
order to accomplish developing material to enhance this skill. In the same manner, listening skill is
a great way to helps the students accomplish their academic activities as well as awaken them in
real world, either societal issues and other important matter that listening skills can be used. With
that, teachers must construct, and develop meaningful materials where which engage the students
ability to listen.
THINGS TO HEED
In developing materials for listening skill, as a teacher you must first make a key advise; or things to
heed and consider upon creating your own materials to enhance the students listening skills. These
are by answering the following questions:
What kind of listening materials are there?
By answering this question, you may be able to identify what materials you should develop, its
either developing or adapting materials; most especially if you aim to enhance the student’s
listening skill that which can also be applied by the students in real life situation.
What makes a text easier to listen?
You should have to consider, that in your instructional material especially for listening skill; you
must have to ensure that the student cannot only read the text but also helps them to heard it. For
examples you include dialogues, and conversations on your instructional materials that can also
reflect it to the student as they are reading it; at the same time reading it.

Upon creating an instructional materials for listening skills, you must also consider if it will catch
the interest of your students, does it satisfies them or what makes your materials more interactive.
We must always remember that, some students are more likely to learn if they are interested on the

grammatical knowledge as well as grasping the meaning of a words. In some cases, there are some
students who has the difficulty in understanding their fellow classmates who are using second or
third language. and the best thing or activities that can helps them to exercise and practice listening
skills are to think of any solution who to aid these difficulties that your student has. Sample

With that, the listener will only hear the message only once. So this kind of an input activity also improve the student’s listening skill; by carefully listening to the speaker before them. This activity will not only enhancing their listening skills but also allowing them to show teamwork as well as sharing happiness with their team. These sample input activities can be done in any ways; you must have to be creative and ensure that the student can learn from it. In addition to that, designing an input activities for listening skill should be do carefully; by making it more interactive and fun as well as can give satisfaction to the students. This only helps them to socialize, listening to a response; as well as to interact with their co-members or team mates. DESIGNING OUTPUT ACTIVITIES In designing an output activities for listening skills, this must be with the accompaniment of creating, and crafting. FLUENCY ACTIVITIES As a teacher, we always are hoping that our learners are listening carefully for in this way they may be able to used it as they are growing, as well as helps them to improve their academic performance to be successful; and that can also be used in real life situations. It is a good idea to make the class discussion more explicitly in teaching with the usage of materials for listening skills which can makes them gain more information and new good experiences.
