The youth of today seek quick fame and celebrity status and quick money. Society has lost the real meaning of life. Write a speech which you will give at your school’s leavers assembly expressing your viewpoint on this statement. (40 marks) PLAN For- Children of today are trying to find ways to make quick money. Could be through fraud. Children of today see being famous as a big advantage rather than being “normal.” Seeking ways to make money can cause many problems within their future. Society has lost the real meaning of life as the new generation are interested in making money rather than focusing on their future. Against- Not every child is interested in making quick money or fame. More children are more interested in the fact of being successful in education. Children have no need for quick money, or any money at all, so they have no obligation within finding ways to make quick money. Not all children are interested in being famous, children maybe more kept to themselves, or like to live their life quiet. Children know the problems associated with making quick money. Society hasn’t lost the meaning of life; people work to this day and make money the right way. They socialise properly.
