Human Cell Structure and Function, Study notes of Anatomy

This PowerPoint presentation provides a clear and detailed explanation of the anatomy and physiology of the human cell, designed especially for nursing and biology students. The PPT covers: • Introduction to the human cell • Cell structure and components • Functions of major cell organelles (nucleus, mitochondria, ribosomes, etc.) • Cell membrane structure and transport mechanisms • Differences between plant and animal cells • Simple diagrams and easy explanations for quick understanding The content is well-organized, easy to understand, and ideal for exam preparation, classroom teaching, and self-study.

INTRODUCTION TO THE

DETAILED STRUCTURE OF

THE BODY

Presented By: Ms.Urmila

Ravaliya

DEFINATION OF CELL:

The cell is the basic unit of life ,cells

allow us to eat, breath, grow, reproduce

and eliminate waste.

STRUCTURE OF THE CELL

The cell is made up of the

following structures:

  1. Cell membrane or Plasma

Membrane

  1. Nucleus

  2. Cytoplasm

1) CELL MEMBRANE OR PLASMA

MEMBRANE

The cell membrane is a

protective sheath of cell

body.

The cell membrane is the

semipermeable

membrane. So there is

free exchange of certain

substances between the

extracellular and

intracellular fluids.

2) NUCLEUS :

Nucleus is the centre of the cell it control

all the activity that occur surrounded by

a nuclear membrane.

It contain Genetic material

(CHROMOSOMES) DNA

It contain More Genetic material

(CHROMOSOMES) RNA

Substance can

pass between it

RNA :Ribonucleic acid

DNA: Deoxyribonucleic acid

Digestive system of the cell

PAROXISOMES

MICROTUBULES:

mechanical support, organization

of the cytoplasm, transport,

motility and chromosome

segregation.
