Level of Diversity ● Age ● Practices

● Beliefs Conflict is normal in a particular workplace. It cannot determine but it can be prevented. The restaurant has also a level of diversity, through the workers' age, practices, and beliefs. There are some arousing matters because of misunderstanding. They have an employee who is 20 years old, and the others are 25 years old or above. They have different mindsets and practices based on their beliefs. Sometimes, there is an idea that has been made up and disagreed with by the other party. Types of Workplace Discrimination One of our group mates used to live in Negros Occidental and she had a friend who is working until now in Keopi Samgyup. She asked her friend if it is ok to have an interview with the person in charge or the manager regarding on the types of discrimination happening in their workplace. Luckily, the manager agreed to be interviewed and based on her interview in the Keopi Samgyup, the manager told her that discrimination is happening in the workplace, Mockery and Insults are present in the organization and they cannot avoid the people who feel that they are superior as they work for a long period of time. However, when she asked what kind of verbal bullying is present in the environment and workplace, the management refused to answer because it was confidential and instead, she received the answer “I am sorry miss, but sadly it is confidential and I hope you understand. Thank you.” Differentiating Characteristics Employees differ in age and so do their characters. Physical appearance, abilities, skills, talents, and attitude. They have different personalities as their life is not the same. Some are easygoing, but there are some people who need to twist a bit just to make them understand the situation of others. However, employees do have a talent, most of them are singers, and even the chef and that's one of their similarities. Music unites them. In the biography, the composition of the establishment which is the Keopi Samgyup is that they exhibit a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality, the manager of the establishment treats their employees fairly. Everyone should feel like they are treated equally and fairly regardless of their race. In addition, Keopi Samgyup's biographical characteristics are some of the most obvious ways employees differ. Variations in surface-level characteristics may be the basis for discrimination against classes of employees, so it is worth knowing how related they actually are to work outcomes. As a general rule, many biographical differences are not important to actual work outcomes, and far more variation occurs within groups sharing biographical characteristics that are important in predicting both employee performance and job satisfaction.
