Case no.1
1. Assuming that you are Fate’s system analyst friend, how would you respond to her complaint?
As Fate’s problem is all about that she wants a system that can track the system to monitor the
performance of her sales staff. But unfortunately, the MIS department was inaction so that she
bought a simple database software to track the system on her own. After a few weeks there is
still a feature that did not work correctly so that’s another problem. As a system analyst I
suggest to her complaint that she needs to stay and follow the steps of the MIS to know the
specific needed tool of the MIS when making her system request.
2. If you are part of the MIS team, how would you justify your strategy to Fate?
I talk to her professionally that when doing a system is a critical thing, that we need to know
what the system specific target, job, quantity and more. And, to know what was the tools that
we need to use when we are doing the system that she requests.

1. What requirements analysis strategy or strategies would you recommend for this situation?
Explain your answer.
The requirement analysis that I may recommend to use for this situation is Problem Analysis.
Because base from the scenario they need a system that no longer exist now adays so that they
find a different way to still do their work but their still a problem that if theirs a new member is
entered it disappeared on the record, and also the membership report used in the conference
materials does not alphabetize a member by city. They need to identify the problem and how to
solve it in the system.
