I. Introduction

⮚ An ifood company wants to generate the most profit for its next direct marketing campaign,

scheduled for next month. For increased efficiency in the sale of these products that range from

food and beverage to product location and condition reports. With business intelligence will

help the company better, can operate more efficiently. Through statistics and data analysis, it

can enhance support by monitoring and optimizing usage, providing intelligence to see the

status of consumers in other conditions together. know how to purchase products and thereby

anticipate customer service needs. Of course, in this mission we will talk about business

intelligence and how it can help you in your business/project. It is increasingly important for

businesses to have a clear view of all their data to stay competitive, which is where business

intelligence (BI) tools come in. After all, almost 50% of all businesses are already using BI tools,

and forecasts continue to show growth in the coming year. Having insight into how a business

works can be the difference between success and failure. Of course, having a clear view of all

their data is becoming increasingly important for businesses, and having insight into how a

business is performing can be the difference between success and failure. Fail. Discuss different

types of data and different tools that can help your company.

⮚ In the figure below is the data set in the file " " from 28 variables, which are fully included in

figure two. With this dataset, they can ask us to extract data from the current state and

allow the company to perform Statistical Analysis and Data Visualization of past and present

customers.

⮚ An ifood company wants to make the most of its next direct marketing campaign, scheduled

for next month. for this reason A pilot campaign involving 2,240 customers was carried out,

the customers who purchased the foods that would be the appropriate labeled supply for

inclusion in the analysis.

⮚ After analyzing and summarizing the data, it will produce The total cost of the sample

campaign was 6,720MU and the revenue generated by the customers who accepted the

offer was 3,674MU. Globally the campaign had a profit of -3,046MU and the success rate of

the campaign was 15%

III. Examine, using examples, the terms ‘Business Process’

and ‘Supporting Processes’ (P1).

1. Business Process

A series of activities that are linked together to achieve an organization's goals. Activities are assigned

to stakeholders. They will do a specific job for the purpose of providing a product or service, which your

Company can use to track, test and monitor your business processes. Following are some of the

business processes for the company:

● Sale process: Also known as the sales cycle – is the method your company needs to follow in

order to sell its products or services to customers. It involves a series of steps, from the initial

contact with the prospect to the final sale. The sales process is similar to developing a

relationship with a new person.

● Plan process: Diagnosing a company's internal strengths and weaknesses, improving its

effectiveness, figuring out how it will compete with rival companies in the future, and setting

measurable progress milestones.

● Reach customer process: Refers to the number of targeted current or potential customers that

you can reach with your marketing message.

1.1. Important of Business Process

● Reduced risk and expenditure: A business process lays out the most efficient way to do a job,

taking into account future shortcomings. This reduces risk and expense.

● Reduced human error: Tasks are given to people who are more capable, thereby reducing

the risk of human error.

● Improved efficiency: Moves and relevant steps are clearly mapped out, which productivity.

1.2.1. Structured Data

⮚ In this dataset we can see that it is used for structured data such as include (Year_birth,

Education, inhome, Marial_st,...etc).

⮚ The use of Structured Data in this dataset will create quite a positive impact for the

company in the future because of the usefulness of structured data, many companies

have used it for analysis., store data.

⮚ With its use the company can manage the data stored in the database or manage the

order, efficiently.

1.2.2. Unstructured data

Unstructured data stores contain a wealth of information that can be used to guide

business decisions, in this section am going to talk about how we got it and how those

information could be useful for our organisation:

● First source would be social media , customers often leave comments on what

they like about the place, the price,... People talk about their opinion on said

place in social media a lot, by collecting these information we can analyse what

the customer think about the place, listing the pros and cons

● Secondly- Email, sometimes people would be interested in doing business inside

IFood, so they send IFood an email expressing said interest. The content would

often be how said spot inside IFood is more attractive than other places

Unstructured data is becoming more and more an extremely fertile thing today, because

it contains a large amount of information that was once unexplorable, but with the use

of information development as it is today, that information can already be collected and

used, and there have been many large companies in the world that have applied and

used unstructured data to exploit information and data.

1.2.3. Semi-structured data

Collecting semi-structured have become a popular trend for businesses that look forward

to expanding and gaining profit. Our are no different, here is a list of of information we

collect to further understand the user:

● E-mails.

● Chat conversation.

● Phone conversation.

Analysing these data will be helpful and crucial in increase IFood’s gain. Since our client

doesn't have much data for semi-structured data we have gone ahead and encouraged

them to have one because semi-structured data also have the characteristics of the two

data types mentioned above, these characteristics make the data diverse. With this

diversity it will allow us to customise it based on the status quo or actual condition.

2. Supporting Process

⮚ Support processes that support the smooth functioning of business processes. They may not be

directly involved in the creation of the final product or service, but they do play an important

role in ensuring that the overall process runs smoothly, maintaining product integrity or services

developed by key processes, ensure that products and processes adhere to predefined terms

and plans, the supporting processes that accompany the “main processes” do not usually lead to

the organization's end products, but indirectly contribute to added value, and documentation,

configuration management, verification, training, and testing are all supporting processes.

⮚ For example, in the field of food sales, the support processes will support different parts as well

as many areas including providing information technology, financial and human resources

✔ Specify a process to analyze and eliminate (solve) the problems (including disagreements),

regardless of their nature or origin, which are discovered during the execution of the

development, operation, and other processes.

3. DFD

4. CFD

IV. Compare the types of support available for business

decision-making at varying levels within an organization

(P2).

1. Decision Making and Decision-Support Systems (DDS)

It helps managers make decisions about the most efficient way to stage deliveries to loading points

based on production requirements, routes and timeframes. Such systems have powerful analytical

capabilities that assist managers in the decision-making process.

2. Type of Decision

2.1. Strategic Levels 2.1.1. Understand

⮚ The strategic level is concerned with deciding and developing strategic plans to achieve

strategic goals (or objectives). Organizational mission:

o Target Goals

o plan

o Agree

o Expected

⮚ The strategic level needs to scan and analyze the external environment to find information.

⮚ The strategic level helps to achieve the goals in the best possible way, it always ensures the

future of development.

⮚ The strategic level involves multiple segments or sections when collecting inputs.

o Emerging technology

o Competition

o Consumer Choices

o Economic, social and political change

2.1.2. Data type used and Executor

⮚ The strategic level is concerned with deciding and developing the future plans of the

company so this implementation will always be delegated to the senior management in the

company such as the president, director, deputy director.

⮚ The strategic level of information is always mixed from pictures, videos, .....and don't know

exactly, because of these chaos, it always has no fixed structure, so I have concluded that at

this level is the use of unstructured data and.
