INFORMATION LITERATE REQUIRED SKILLS
1. To be able to find resources.

3. Ethically and responsible use of
information
An information literate knows his/her
responsibilities in sharing and using
information. This includes to ask
permission, to give credits, to cite and
the likes.
4. To communicate one’s information.
This includes sharing someone else's
information without sacrificing the
original idea and thought of the main
information. Just like when do
paraphrasing in doing research.

LESSON 3: INFORMATION LITERACY

1. To be able to find resources. You are information literate if you know where to find a credible and reliable information. 2. To be able to find information. This encapsulates finding the right and suitable information. In finding an information, an information literate may consider multiple resources and do the ranking from important to least important. 3. Ethically and responsible use of information An information literate knows his/her responsibilities in sharing and using information. This includes to ask permission, to give credits, to cite and the likes. 4. To communicate one’s information. This includes sharing someone else's information without sacrificing the original idea and thought of the main information. Just like when do paraphrasing in doing research.

5. To be able to manage information. With all those countless information, data, or files that you acquired; how do you manage all of those? You utilize some storage devices to keep and store your information such as flash drive, sd card, gdrive and the likes. 6. To be able to examine results. Not all information online is true. How do you examine all of those? Sometimes you combine and compare the information that you acquired. If saw the accuracy and consistency of the information, then you consider the information as fact. Intellectual property refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions, literary and artistic works, designs, and symbols. Plagiarism means using someone else’s work without giving them proper credit.
