Following requirements are given by the Management.  A ll the depa rtments must be separated w ith unique subnet and should not communicate with eac h othe r unless there is a special requirement.  192.168 .10.0/24 is giv en and should be used for a ll the

de partments except the serve r room. I Ps should assign using DHCP.  ERP and CRM Systems need to be impleme nte d in Mata ra branch in loc al serv ers.  Number of servers required for the Server room ne ed to be dec ided by the Netw ork designer and should be assigned with 10.254.1.0/2 4 subne t. (U ses stati c IPs )  High level of redundancy is expec ted in ne twork de sign to eliminate sing le point of failure s and traffi c bott le nec ks.  Sales and Mark eti ng Team ne ed to access Netw ork resources using WIFI connec ti v ity.  Proper methods for network ing monitoring and troubleshooti ng need to be established.  A ll possible network security mec hanisms should be imple mented. Assume you hav e bee n appointe d as the ne w netw ork consultant of SYNTAX SOL UTIONS. Prepa re a netw ork architec tural design and implement it with your sugge sti ons and rec omme nda ti ons to mee t the compa ny re quirements. (Note: Clear ly state your assumpti ons. You ar e allowed to design the network according to your assumpti ons, but main requirements should not be violated) Acti vity 01  Disc uss the benefi ts and constraints of diff e re nt netw ork

menti oned user requirements including a blueprint drawn using a modeling tool. (Ex: Microsoft Visio, Edraw Max ). Support your answer by providing the VLA N and IP subnetti ng scheme for the above scenario and the list of dev ices, netw ork components and soft wa re used to de sign the netw ork for above scenario and while justi fy ing your selec ti ons.  Test and ev aluate the propose d desig n to meet the requirements and analyse use r feedback by using a Use r feedback form.  Install and confi g ure Netw ork se rv ice s, de vic es and applicati ons (Ex: VLAN,DHCP, DNS ,Proxy , Web, Etc. ) according to the propose d desig n to accomplish the use r requirements and design a deta iled Mainte nance sc hedule for above Netw ork.

  • Note: - Screen shots of Confi gurati on scripts should be presented. Acti vity 04  Implement a netw orke d syste m ba sed on your prepa re d design with va lid ev idence s and rec ommend potenti a l future enhancements for the networked sy ste m w ith va lid justi fi c ati ons to your re commendati ons. Use c riti cal refl ecti on to criti ca lly evaluate the design, pla n, confi gurati on, and te sti ng of your ne twork while justi fying with valid conclusions.  Develop test cases and conduct ve rifi ca ti on (Ex : Ping,

extende d ping, trace route, telnet, SSH, etc.) to test the abov e Network and analyse the test results aga inst the expec ted results.
