The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has changed the exam pattern of Class 10 and 12. According to the latest update on the revised CBSE Exam Pattern, two board exams or term-end exams will be conducted for the 2022 batch. And each board exam or term exam will have 50 per cent of the syllabus. Based on the new CBSE Internal Assessment Pattern, the syllabus for the academic session 2021-22 will be divided into 2 terms. The revised syllabus will be divided systematically based on the interconnectivity of concepts and topics. As per the CBSE exam pattern 2021-22, the Term I Exam will be conducted in November or December. The exam will be conducted for 90 minutes, and questions will be of Multiple Choice based on assertion-reasoning. CBSE Term Il exam will be conducted in March or April based on the rationalised syllabus of Term II only i.e. Approximately 50% of the entire syllabus). Based on the revised CBSE exam pattern, the paper will be of 2 hours duration and have questions of different formats like case based/ situation based, open-ended- short answer/long answer type Candidates will be assessed throughout the year irrespective of Term 1 and 2 as per the revised CBSE internal assessment pattern 2021-22.
