Mindfulness Reflection Week 1 Developing present-moment awareness via mindfulness has become crucial to my everyday existence. In this reflection piece, I examine how mindfulness has influenced my health-related behaviours and my difficulties. My daily routine focuses on mindful health practices, particularly emphasising the value of good food and restful sleep. I follow a meal timetable, which gives me a direction to help me feel less stressed while choosing what to eat. These fundamentals keep me in check and prepare me to face daily obstacles. Additionally, I used to be active when exercising, mainly when I walked rather than take transportation to do my daily responsibilities. However, my workout regimen has suffered since moving to Georgia, where getting about is more complex. In due course, I intend to establish a routine that will help me regain my flow. Recognising the need to adapt, I consider introducing positive psychology and meditation. These mindfulness practices serve as tools to stay present and keep my goals in nursing school clear. Conclusion Mindfulness informs how I go about my daily routine and deal with change. As I adapt to a less walkable environment in Georgia, adding more mindfulness practices becomes steps towards maintaining focus on the present and achieving success in my nursing school endeavours.
