When people have a cough or a cold, they frequently utilize ginger. It has anti inflammatory benefits which can help with a dry cough and a cold. Lemongrass (Cymbopogon) – one of the elements in an ointment for treating common colds and coughs aid prevent the growth of bacteria and viruses. Fragrance – the aroma of a certain product. Texture – the product's visual surface features and appearance. Ointment – a smooth oily formula that is rubbed onto the skin. Length of effectivity – it refers to how long the effectiveness of the product lasts. Consistency – quality of product’s performance in terms of effectiveness. IMPORTANCE OF THE STUDY This research study discusses the importance of understanding and assessing the Utilization of Lemongrass (Cymbopogon) and Ginger (Zingiber Officinale) Extract in Producing Ointment for Treating Cold and Cough. This study will be extremely useful and valuable to the following individuals:
The study will be conducted at barangay Pias, which is located in Mapandan, Pangasinan. This quantitative research study will be limiting its scope, by which the selected children in Barangay Pias Mapandan Pangasinan will be respondents. The researchers will be using stratified random sampling. A sampling method in which a population is divided into smaller sub-groups called strata. Strata are created in stratified random sampling, or stratification, based on common traits or attributes among individuals. The study will be done through the utilization of a survey questionnaire. A set of questionnaires will be given and answer by the respondents which are the children of barangay Pias, Mapandan, Pangasinan, researchers will make sure the anonymity of the respondents likewise with their answers. The researchers will then analyze and interpret the data gathered, with supporting evidence.
