Test 3. Aside from the Philippines, there are a lot of Asian countries which also have their own way of speaking the English language. For this part of the test, choose one Asian country of your choice and share a little about the variety of

their English. You can dwell on the history, features or even the usage. Do not forget to cite your reference if you consulted one.



















Special Task:  Research one country from each of Kachru’s Three Circles of English (Inner, Outer, and Expanding Circles). Please send your country, no repetition of county. *For BSF in pairs *For BSES individuals *For BSBA HRM 4-5 members  For each country, find examples of vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, or idioms that are unique to that variety of English.  Create a short presentation (3–5 minutes) comparing these three varieties, highlighting key linguistic features and explaining any historical or cultural reasons behind these differences. Reflection Questions:  How do cultural influences shape the way English is used in each country?  Why is it important to understand these differences when communicating globally? Presentation and Discussion:  Share your findings with the class.  Engage in a group discussion about the challenges and benefits of English variations in global communication.
