Question 2 CLO-2, CLO-4 20 Marks
Each part carries equal marks
Most of the educational institutions around the globe have gone online due to the COVID-19 pandemic
situation. Delivering lectures and taking notes is relatively easy task during online education but for most
of the people involved in online education, either faculty members or students, are facing extreme
challenges when it comes to online assessments. Suppose that you work as a project manager in the IT-
upgraded educational institution, and the head of institution asked you to initiate a project for Online
Learning Management System which should be better than the existing solutions. Assume that the
project will take 8 months to complete and the budget allocated for the said project is PKR 5 Million. In
the light of discussed case study, you are required to do the following:
a) Develop a Project Charter for Online Learning Management System. (CLO-4)
b) As your project is initiated, now you have to collect requirements for the project. You are required
to document at least four technical and four non-technical requirements in the Requirement
Traceability Matrix.

c) Write a Project Scope Statement for the said project. You should be as specific as possible in
describing product characteristics and requirements, as well as all the project’s deliverables.

d) Develop a Work Breakdown Structure. Work can be broken down to level 3 or level 4 as you deem
appropriate. Make sure that the WBS is based on the Project Charter, Scope Statement, and other
relevant information. (CLO-2)
