This year 2020 gave a massive impact to all people around the globe due to the pandemic crisis of COVID19. Individuals experienced how cruel and how difficult life is, that even buying foods and goods for the family is hard to do. Some workers are labeled as NSNP or NO WORK NO PAY, and fortunate for the workers who work from home and some are lucky enough to avail the hotel accommodation provided by the company. But how about those poorest of the poor who doesn’t have any work and money for them to use during this days of ECQ, they are depending on the financial assistance given by the government. This financial assistance was so called SAP. Let’s understand more about what really SAP stands for and how to avail the financial assistance of SAP. Let’s begin, what’s really SAP stands for? According to MSM, SAP stands for Social Amelioration Program. This is a cash emergency subsidy program (ESP) for 18 million Filipino families whose lives are greatly affected by the ECQ. Its mandated by the new law, the Bayanihan to Heal Us One Act, which was signed by the President last March 25,2020. The program is headed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in cooperation with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Finance (DOF), Department of Budget & Management (DBM) and Department of Interior & Local Government (DILG). This Social Amelioration Program prioritize the families who need cash assistance most especially those livelihood that has been affected by the ECQ. Furthermore, Families can be qualified and can received the assistance if (1) if a family member is a senior citizen or aged 60 & above (2) a family member is a person with disability (PWD). (3) a family member is pregnant or breastfeeding. (4) a family member is a solo parent, and for more qualification you may refer to (www.msn.com). But there’s a lot of reactions and questions that was raised by the people who are supposedly qualified but haven’t received the assistance. This problem must be solved nowadays by the government in order not to make the situation worst. Aside from the financial assistance given by the government, families received donations from the people who have enough to share. In this time of crisis, COVID19 is out of control. All you can do is to be cooperative and be discipline in everything you do. You can’t end this crisis without your help and everyone’s help. Follow the rules and orders that was implemented and stay at home as much as possible. God Bless You and more power.
