CHAPTER III
Technical Specifications This chapter discusses the technical specification of the hardware and software requirements used in developing and implementing this project. Software In developing the User Management System, the developers used Windows 10 Home Single Language as the Operating System. The software that has been used by the developers was (1) Notepad++, (2) Sublime Text, (3) XAMPP, (4) MySQL, and (5) Google Chrome. These are the software that will help the proponents build the proposed system and use the following programming language such as PHP and JavaScript and MySQL. That will support the database and the web-based application. Software Specification Description Operating System Windows 10 This operating system was used by proponents due to its compatibility with system software. Database MySQL The proponents used MySQL that collect and store the data from system software. Browser Google Chrome The proposed system runs in the Google Chrome browser during the development. Table 3.2 shows the software requirements that have been used by the developers. It also includes the specification and description for each software in developing the User Management System. In developing the User Management System, the developers used different types of laptops and desktop such as Asus, Dell and custom desktop unit. The proponents use these devices to create the proposed system. Desktop AMD Athlon 200GE with Radeon 3.50 GHz or faster 4GB minimum or 8GB RAM recommended Free Hard Disk Space: 60GB minimum or 80GB Backup space srequired depends upon system usage. The proponents recommend a desktop unit with the following specification for the server desktop unit. The desktop server unit is responsible for hosting the web application to be able to access by the end user. Table 3.4 shows the hardware requirements that recommends by the proponents to run the proposed system in great function and have the best experience when using the Users Management System.
