The impact of student behavior on the learning environment and teacher's instructions. It provides a scenario of a student named Sarah who wanders in the classroom and how it affects her learning and that of other students. The document also suggests possible triggers for the behavior and instructional interventions to address it. Additionally, it proposes the use of technology to enhance instructions for specific students.

Task 1 – Behaviors and Technology Revised Classroom Management, Engagement, and Motivation – C Task 1 Scenario 1 A. Explain how one's student behavior affects the learning environment, including how that behavior influences his or her learning, the learning of other students, and the teacher's instructions Sarah wandering in the classroom is utterly disturbing to other students as some start following her around, leaving undivided attention within the learning environment. This behavior exposes Sarah to negative learning ability based on understanding the unit in question. Similarly, Sarah is prohibiting the teacher’s ability to interact with other students and deliver instructions appropriately. The teacher’s attention is drawn towards Sarah in attempt to tame her movement and those of other students following her. She therefore affects the teacher’s productivity since a lot of time is wasted in attending to her distractions. Sarah could be seeking attention or avoiding something unusual to her in class; therefore, it is vital to address the possible issues triggering her unrest. To accommodate Sarah's wandering, it is important first to embrace the reality of her situation linked with the fact that she is still young and playful to comprehend the consequences (Bosch, 2006). Therefore, encouraging her movement while blending the play with some pre- composed songs related to the subject in consideration as a modification; will address Sarah's behavior and help contain the situation. B. Describe a possible trigger (i.e., antecedent) or reason for the student's behavior With Sarah's medical file showing no medical conditions that could expose her to wander
in class, one can assume that she might probably be imitating a student who had earlier triggered the play. Thus, she replicates by doing it repeatedly to various students causing disturbance to other students and herself from the teacher's instructions. Similarly, the play could be triggered by a lack of attention; therefore, she engages in ramble with other students following in his footsteps. Sarah's maunder is likely to be continued if not addressed as long as her attention- seeking affinity is not quenched through properly guided engagements. C. Describe an instructional intervention (i.e., modification to your instructional method) that could be used to address the specific student behavior Engaging Sarah more in group work is essential in taming her strolls around the class (Bosch, 2006). Group works will help Sarah develop positive self-esteem and develop unity skills rather than being selfish, engaging her more while teaching, like constantly asking if she has something to tell class concerning discussion topics. D. Describe a way to incorporate technology or software to enhance your instructions of one targeted student from the provided scenarios Explain how the technology Identified in part D will enhance your instructions to that student George occasionally gets angry and strikes other students while throwing books on the floor. I will use virtual tablets with attractive animated apps to tap George's attentiveness. Downloading apps such as Duolingo and Remind will help George's interactive learning process and enable him to share photos with his photography and movie-making club members. E. Describe a way to incorporate a different type of technology or software to enhance learning for a different student for either scenario as a target for the technology Explain how the technology Identified in part E will enhance the learning of that student Scenario 1 To tame Joey's constant talking and out-of-turn loudness that is causing disturbance to other students present in the class deterring the learning process, I will employ Tablet devices
