Perhaps, mañana Can I multi-task? Yes, I have a lot of pending school works and chilling at the same time. I’m questioning how my old self can be so productive to wake up four-thirty in the morning, stay in school from seven to five in the afternoon doing activities, hanging around with friends after school, and doing school works at night. We don’t manage time, it moves on whether we mind it or not, but we can manage ourselves against time which means setting our goals, expectations, schedules, and habits within the time we have. We have the enthusiasm to get things done; however, we are guilty of procrastinating at some point in our lives, And yes, I only completed half of this essay and procrastinated about the rest half. I’m subconsciously sabotaging myself to defer whatever I should be doing or pull an all-nighter to finish this. It is a trap that many of us fall into. While looking for an article on the topic, I came across Balancing Life’s Tasks. In the article, I found noteworthy statements: “We must organize our needs and desires. Otherwise we will anxiously live our lives treading water aimlessly,” and “Before doing big things, make sure you take care of little things first.” We always underestimate our ability to beat procrastination later, maybe because of a false sense of security convincing ourselves that we will meet the deadline, pacifies thoughts in ‘I work best under pressure,’ fear of failure, guilt feeling, and inferior complex about the task.
