I used to hula hoop when I was a little girl. At first it was a sports activity we did at school, and you
can’t imagine how hyperactive I was, ¡I wouldn’t stop! From that moment on, I started doing
hula hoops as part of my daily routine.
Hula hula gives you the feeling of being free and motivated. I could take my hula hoop to school
and practice it with my friends at recess as a game. When I was 11 years old, I joined the school
gymnastics group and tried hard to participate in the Interscholastic - it was a real challenge, ¡but
I did it!
When I entered high school, I stopped going to practice. My physical performance was really
bad, and I had a lot more homework to do, plus I entered a French course. In spite of that, I didn't
forget how good I felt.
Now I have a new hobby: ¡Yoga! I can do it only in the mornings, so it fits my new schedule. In
fact, practicing yoga in the morning helps my concentration and has improved my flexibility as
did rhythmic gymnastics.
