with the New York Yankees. During the

1920s and 1930s, Ruth broke several

records that stood for more than 30

years. His powerful hitting and

United States. In this championship , the
winners of the two major leagues , the
American League and the National
League, face off n a best -of - seven
serirs. The team that wins four games is
crowned champion. The world series is
watched by millions and highlight in the
