ZERO CONDITIONAL: Aquest condicional s'utilitza quan el resultat sempre passarà.
If + present simple, .... present simple.
1. If people eat too much, they get fat.
Si la gent menja massa, s'engreixa.
2. If you touch a fire, you get burned.
Si toques un foc, et cremes.
3. People die if they don't eat.
La gent mor si no menja.
FIRST CONDITIONAL: S'utilitza per parlar de coses que poden passar en el futur. Per
descomptat, no podem saber què passarà en el futur, però això descriu coses possibles,
que fàcilment podrien fer-se realitat.
If + present simple, ... will + infinitive.
1. If it rains, I won't go to the park.
Si plou, no aniré al parc.
2. If I study today, I will go to the party tonight.
Si estudio avui, aquesta nit aniré a la festa.
3. If I have enough money, I'll buy some new shoes.
Si tinc prou diners, em compraré unes sabates noves.
SECOND CONDITIONAL: Podem utilitzar-lo per parlar de coses en el futur que
probablement no seran certes, poden ser imaginàries.
If + past simple (2n columna o -ed), ...would + infinitive.
1. If I won the lottery, I would buy a big house.(I probably won't win the lottery)
Si em toqués la loteria, compraria una casa gran. (Segurament no guanyaré la
loteria)
2. If I met the Queen of England, I would say hello.
Si conegués la reina d'Anglaterra, li diria hola.
3. She would travel all over the world if she were rich.
