An overview of conditional structures in english language, focusing on the first, second, and third conditional and time clauses. The first conditional expresses what will happen if a condition is met, using the present simple and future simple tenses. The second conditional deals with hypothetical situations, using the past simple and would + base form of a verb in the result clause. The third conditional discusses past situations and their hypothetical results, employing the past perfect simple and would have + past participle in the result clause. Additionally, the document covers the use of 'unless' to introduce conditional clauses and time clauses, which demonstrate events happening at a certain time based on an action or event.

Time clauses:Are used to demonstrate a period of time based on an action or event, similar to dependent clauses in conditional sentences. A time clause shows the event will happen at a certain time, while the if clause shows it will happen if something else happens. As soon as I finish working I will go to the park. When I arrive home I will study. By the time she is in the school, she will go to the high school.
