Vocabulary
Our new classmate This year is different. Many friends are the same as last year. There are new students in the class, they all have a smile on their face when I say “hello” to them. There is a special boy, he is quiet all the time. I want to know his name and take him to the playground with my friends. “Hello!” I said, “My name is Alex, what is your name?”. “My name is Paul” he said, and he is happy to talk with me. He likes books and loves to read. He draws nice cars and colors them. His eyes shine when he smiles. He wants to be my friend and I am happy to be his. He walks slowly with his crutches, I help him go to the playground. Tom, Louis and all my friends want to play with him too. Now we all welcome him to our class. He enjoys being with us.
