RULES:
1- Most verbs form the third-person singular by adding -s to verb: sing – sings/ give –
gives
2. Verbs ending in -ch, -ss, -sh, -x, -z or -o form the third-person singular by adding -es
Watch – watches / miss – misses / wash - washes / fix- fixes / buzz – buzzes / do- does).
3. Verbs ending in a consonant + y, change the y to i and add -es .
study – studies /cry – cries / try – tries
4. Verbs ending in a vowel + i, don’t change the –y play – plays / obey - obeys
