El Día de la Independencia del Perú, celebrado el 28 de julio, se celebra
en todo el territorio nacional, desde la costa hasta la sierra y la selva,
así como en embajadas y comunidades peruanas en el extranjero. En
Lima, se realizan las celebraciones oficiales, como el mensaje
presidencial y la Gran Parada Militar. En la sierra andina, regiones como
Cusco y Ayacucho combinan los actos patrios con danzas, música y
expresiones culturales propias. En la Amazonía, las celebraciones
incluyen ferias, desfiles y eventos que reflejan la identidad selvática. En
la costa, ciudades como Piura y Arequipa realizan desfiles, misas y
actividades culturales. En el exterior, los peruanos celebran con
desfiles, ferias gastronómicas y festivales culturales, reafirmando su
identidad nacional.
