2. Description Step 1: Collaborative work (get into pairs or groups of three). Step 2: Check this week’s study material and your sessions’ notes. Step 3: Prepare a 3 minute presentation with your partner. o Situation: Today is Joan´s birthday party. You can´t go because you are sick. Your partner (s) is/are at the party, and you want to know how it is going. Call your partner (s) on facetime and ask who is at the party, what the people in the party are doing now and what they are wearing. Your partner(s) answers your questions. Take turns: Student A is sick at home and asks questions to Student(s) B/C. Student B is sick at home and asks questions to Student(s) A/C. Student C is sick at home and asks questions to Student(s) A/B. o Content: Vocabulary and expressions (Weeks 1-3) Present continuous in affirmative and negative forms. Yes/No and Wh-questions And (coordinating conjunction)
Step 4: o Practice the dialogue with your partner paying attention to the pronunciation and intonation. o Practice again and record the dialogue. o Remember to transmit your personal emotions as in a real situation. Step 5 : Once you are ready, record yourselves in multimedia on the virtual platform or upload your video in Youtube /Drive and share the link in a Word format on the platform. Step 6: Use the following structure: o Cover: Your names and last names must be there. Include your photos. There are 2 options to do it: (Choose one) Option 1: Insert the cover in your video, if you record it on the virtual platform.
