ORGAN: A collection of tissues that is synchronized to perform a determined function. SYSTEM (ORGAN SYSTEM): A collection of organs that work together as a system to perform a common function. ORGANISM: Individual beings that are able to reproduce, grow, move, and respond to stimuli. POPULATION:The total number of organisms from the same species living in a specific area.

ORGANIZATION

COMMUNITY: Two or more different populations interacting in a specific area. ECOSYSTEM: A collection of organisms in a specific area interacting with each other (biotic factors) and their environment (abiotic factors like sunlight, temperature, water, oxygen, and nutrients). BIOME: A large area characterized by certain vegetation, soil, climate, and wildlife. BYOSPHERE: A collection of all of the biomes on earth which includes all life forms as well as the atmosphere (air), hydrosphere (water), and lithosphere (earth).
