Invader (French, b.1969), also known as Space Inva der, is an Urban artist originally based in Paris. He affixes mosaic images of characters from the 1970s video game “Space Invaders" in cities around the world. The mosaics are made using weather-resistant tiles, which represent the pixels used for graphics in early video and computer games.

BLEK LE

RAT

the way of stencil

Blek was born Xavier Prou in Paris, 1952 and studied fine art and architecture in Paris. He worked with local teens in buildings. When he saw them tagging the abandoned cabins, he decided to adopt graffiti to bring the new art form to Parisian streets. One of the godfathers of the European street art movement, Blek le Rat inspired hundreds of artists around the world with his stenciled style.

OS GEMEOS

graffiti x 2

Os Gemeos is a Portuguese word meaning the twins. These duo street artists are identical twin brothers who were born in 1974 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. They began their careers by being involved in spray-painting graffiti in 1987. As time progresses, their work involved complicated murals, family portraits, commentary on Sao Paulo’s social and political circumstances, and even Brazilian folklores. They are known worldwide and they are perhaps best known for the yellow-skinned characters.

SWEET TOOF

power of teeth

Sweet Toof is a well-known United Kingdom graffiti and street artist. His work always represents mouths and teeth, and in his own words, "Teeth can be really sexy, or aggressive, but they're also constant reminders of death. They're how we get recognised by police when there's nothing else left."

KEF!

the peaceful graffiti lines

KEF! (born in 1989) is a German graffiti artist. He paints smooth and harmonious lines making curves that express a positive energy and joy in a perfect balance. He approaches street art as a spiritual practice, painting lines inspired by Nature. This is greatly reflected in his creations which contain a free-flowing and non-repetitive technique used in the intricacy of abstract lines – just like in nature.

Amara

Stockholm-based, the work produced by Amara Por Dios is colourful
with bold, black lines to make up a abstract-organic faces from shapes.

Airborne

Mark

Airborne Mark's (also known as The Pilot) work reminds of Victorian steampunk with one-eyed metal creatures and characters. He creates a lot of this work, including planes, in his art.

Banksy

In Britain there is a very active graffiti world and one of the most
famous artists is Banksy, an “urban terrorist” who
creates funny throught provoking graffiti and images
in very unusual places as well as on walls.
