1. Read the text carefully:
Steve and his family were in Majorca last year. Read what Steve thinks about the
place.
We arrived at the hotel at 9 o´clock in the morning. Our room was in front of the swimming
pool on the third floor. My brother Mark and I put some shorts and went into the pool.
Mum and Dad visited the city. The following days were a lot of fun.
We went to the beach in the morning. Then we come back to the hotel to have a shower and
lunch. In the afternoon we walked in the city, went to the local zoo, ate in restaurants, drank
tropical juice, did a lot of shopping and talked to the local people.
They spoke Spanish and a little English. We also wrote postcards to our friends in Britain.
My brother tried water-skiing and I tried windsurfing. It was fantastic!!!
At night we went to discos and danced until 4 o’clock in the morning.
I got a Majorcan T shirt and took many photos. These were my favourite holidays ever!!!
