HOW TO CREATE A RED HAT ID
A Red Hat account gives you access to the Red Hat Academy Learning Platform and allows you to successfully
enroll in our program as an administrator, inst ructor or student. Red Hat will use t he personal data collected below,
such as your contact information and account information, to create and administer your Red Hat account. This
account is required to enroll into the Red Hat Academy program.
If you’ve created a Red Hat account in the past, you can verify your account at sso.redhat.com and
determine if you have a pre-existing account.
To create a new account, follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Go to redhat.com and begin completing the form.
Step 2: Confirm your account is Personal – this will be your ind ividual Red Hat Account for all courses
and certifications
Step 3: Create your individual login information. The Red Hat Login you create will be the Red Hat ID
(username) you will use to login to www.redhat.com and https://rha.ole.redhat.com/rha/app/.
**Please tie the Red Hat Username to your academic email address if possible.
