SUMMER TRIP
When I saw my mother preparing the suitcases I couldn’t believe it, after insisting and
offering my parents some travel destinations, they had finally decided that we could
spend a few days away from home. I quickly told my sister and friends, to which I just
told them that I would be out and, when I returned, I would tell them everything.
The next morning, my uncles and cousins were waiting for us with his car in front of
our house to help us with our luggages. Ready to travel, my mother told my sister and
me that the place where we would spend our holidays would be the wonderful beaches
of Sydney. The journey seemed short to me because I was listening to music and
watching a film. When we arrived at the hotel, my cousins and I put our suitcases in
the room and, after putting on the swimsuits, we went to Maroubra Beach.
I was most of the time at the beach, and there I made many friends. It was a great trip,
I really enjoyed and I was very happy. It was also an unforgettable experience learning
to surf in those clear waters. When we got home, my parents promised us to come
back next summer.
