Good morning classmates and teacher, I will talk about how I got rich.
3 months ago, I became a millionaire. I won 3 million dollars at the Arizona
Lottery. I already bought a McLaren 675lt and a better house than I had. I think
that I squandered money on that car, because I don't need such an expensive
car. I'd better not squander more money. Do you know what a profligate is? It’s
an adjective for a person that is extremely wasteful in the use of resources, and I
don’t want to be like that. Now, I am planning to help a special animal for me.
The Mountain gorilla. I had a toy gorilla in my childhood and I remember well
that I loved it. Mountain Gorillas are endangered. They have been killed for their
heads, hands, and feet, which are sold to collectors. In addition to being hunted
by poachers, the lives of these animals are threatened by:
Habitat Loss: Rapidly expanding human settlements are removing the gorilla
habitat.
Disease: Regular contact of tourists with the gorillas allows transmission of
diseases from humans to the gorillas.
I made a budget and I think that I can donate 1 million dollars to build a
Mountain Gorilla shelter. I think that's an efficient solution to increase its
population. I wish that I had more money so, I will be able to donate 2 million
dollars. I can only donate that amount because I set aside 1 million to study
German in Germany at its best school. I believe that if I studied German, then I
would have more money in the future so, I will be able to keep helping Gorillas. I
would feel relieved if I did that. My mother is a trustworthy person, and I am
counting on her to help me, so, I gave her the money, and she invests it and
watches it. She said that she would put it in a bank. Even though I am rich now. I
said to my family that I had to keep working hard. I think that incredible things
are made by hard-working people. The Theory of Relativity was developed by a
man who didn't care about luxurious things and wore the same outfit every day.
