Writing 3: Profile
Núria Martínez Bruch
Tourism student at the University of Girona.
Location: Vic, Catalonia. Otherwise I’m living in Girona just because I’m studying there.
Current: Studying and at the same time working as a waitress in a Restaurant in Vic.
Past: I started my studies in Jaume Callis School, located in Vic. Then I began my batxillerat
course at the same school and after this I was admitted at the UDG for doing the tourism degree.
Moreover, before starting tourism degree I started working in a Restaurant Café in Vic called
Izei.
Last year also in Christmas season I worked in a shop called “complements” as a shop assistant.
Summary
I love travelling. I get first interested in tourism when I was little, I found very interesting the
attitude of them. They were really amazed of what were they visiting. Apart from that, as I said
before I love travelling and visiting new places and also learning about the aspects of each
country or city.
This degree will let me the opportunity to work in hotels and tourism office and knowing new
people and getting new experiences, and enter in the hostel world.
In conclusion, I hope that I will get more experience in that world and in the future improve my
languages and knowledge about tourism.
