The Parent Trap (1998)
The Parent Trap is a remake of the 1961 Hayley Mills film. The
film was created and directed by Nancy Meyers. It stars
Lindsay Lohan as Hallie Parker and Annie James, Dennis Quaid as
Nick Parker, and Natasha Richardson as Elizabeth "Lizie"
James. It wasn't nominated for Oscars, but Lindsay Lohan won a
one award as Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young
Actress in a Feature Film.
The film was filmed in London and California. It is set a camp
called Seely, a house of London and Napa Valley.
The story is about sister twins, who were separated when they
were a baby. One of they live in London with her mother, and
the other live in California with her father. They decided to go a camp and they met in this
place. Annie and Halley discovered that are sisters and they planned how to get together their
parents and they make jokes so that their stepmother doesn't marry with their father.
I strongly recommend The Parent Trap. It has drama, comedy, a great plot, and good actors,
but above all amazing special effects, because the character of the twins is played by a single
person who is Lindsay Lohan, there was a game of cameras, in spite of that in those years
there wasn't much technology. I prefer this kind of movies, because I remembered that when I
was child, I watched this movie a lot of times and I never get bored. I still love it to this day.
Furthermore, you can see it and have a good time with your family.
