PRODUCERS: use energy from the sun to make their own food (photosynthesis). CONSUMERS: obtain their energy eating other living things Can be Primary consumers (herbivores and omnivores): eat producers. Secondary consumers (carnivores and omnivores): eat primary consumers. DECOMPOSERS (fungi and bacteria): live on the remains of other living things.
