1. What do you think of technological progress? Write a short essay about
this topic.
Nowadays, our society has made a huge change, comparing to the last century
where we didn’t have all the technological improvements that we have nowadays.
Obviously, not all the people support the giant impact that technology has in our
daily lives, but does all this technological progress worth it?
Firstly, not all technological progress is focused on mobile phones, computers,
and all that stuff. Fortunately this progress has been used to improve some
machines and methodologies used in medicine to diagnose and prevent illness.
And also the best way to look after the patients, for instance, controlling the
heartbeat, and the medicines that the patient takes.
Also, the technological progress has helped a lot of companies, making their work
faster and easier. Such as sending the documentation telematically, instead of
giving the documents by hand, this used to suppose a huge drawback and waste
of time.
Last but not least, technological progress has played an enormous paper on
people’s lives, due to the CoVid-19 pandemic. Thanks to the technological
progress the majority of citizens could continue their work and studies in their
home, without risking their health.
In other words, I believe, that all the technological progress that has been made
is an incredible source that we need to take into account in our daily lives, and to
take the most profit of it.
