HAVE/HAS FOR POSSESSIONS

Prepositions of place or prepositions of place allow us to say exactly where things are. On many occasions, these prepositions are placed right after the main verb or action of the sentence.

EXAMPLES :

PREPOSITIONS OF PLACE

SIMPLE PRESENT The Present Simple tense is the^ TENSE most basic tense in English and uses the base form of the verb. We use the present simple to talk about: Routines Facts | play football every weekend. The human body has 206 bones. In the simple present tense, regularverbs stay the same except in the third person singular form. 1.My son lives in London. 2.She plays basketball. 3.He goes to football every day. 4.He loves to play basketball.

EXAMPLES : EXAMPLES :

  1. I do not need a new bike.
  2. You do not need more ice cream.
  3. We do not need a break.
  4. He does not need more coffee.
  5. She does not need more time.

EXAMPLES :

The formula for asking YES/NO questions in the simple present is do/does + [subject] + [root form of verb]. The formula for asking a question in the simple present is Q WORD +DOES/DO+SUBJECT+VERB

HOW TO ASK A QUESTION

EXAMPLES :

DO YOU PLAY

VOLLEYBALL?

YES, I DO

WHEN DO YOU PLAY?

I PLAY ON SUNDAYS.

HAVE/HAS FOR POSSESSIONS Have and has indicate possession in the present tense (describing events that are currently happening). Have is used with the pronouns I, you, we, and they, while has is used with he, she, and it.
