This is the strangest language of living memory, belongs to one of the most isolated regions of northern
Peru, so we can not identify or be related to any other language in the area. Origin brings us closer to
the Tigre River, Loreto area. In 1975 researches recorded that had 7 people that still spoke it, at
present only one person speaks it. The last study of this language dates from 2008. The cause of its
death was the adoption of Portuguese by members of the tribe that give name to this particular
language.
