The document is a sticker. On the first-plan, we can see Uncle Sam. He is embodying the USA. He is wearing a costum with a tie-knot and a hat with the American flag. His look is determind and it seems that he is staring at you. He points towards us with his right hand. In the background, we can see the USA. There is a slogan : « Speak English… or get the hell out! » in capital letters. It was transformed. The original slogan is « We want you! ». In the first place, Uncle Sam and his slogan was used to encourage foreigners to come, live and work in the USA. The transformation is vulgar because of the use of « get the hell out ». The sticker gives a racist message. It is clear that the author wants to pressure immigrants in the USA. Moreover, it is amplified by the fact that it is sticked in the streets so everyone can see it. The language in this country is a problem in this country. For example, talking in Spanish while in public in America is problematic because they don’t want Mexican people inside of their borders. Even the background is racist because they cropped out the bordering countries as Mexico. We think this is a Republican sticker because they are known to be racist.
