According to me, social work is very useful and important because helps people who needs. Personally, I’m
interested to social work because is a way to improve people’s life. I’d like to work in addiction’s area
because I had some experience with people near me, for example my cousins. I think I can help this type of
persone because I can listen and people say me that I’m an emphathetic girl. With social work, society can
improve resources and If I were a client I’d expect from my social worker help and support.
Skills to become a social worker: empathetic, good analytical skills, good at listening, good at team work,
good organisational skills, interested in other people, patient, tactful and sensitive to other’s people emotions.
Quality: emphaty, patience, a caring nature, effective communication, organisation, analytical skills,
professionalism and judgement, resilience to stress, good time management
