I. INTRODUCTION

In the previous report, we planned the benefits, limitations, and surrounding research project and during project implementation. For now, in this report, we will be planning on how where the project will take place and how it might affect our members. For a side note, this project was made to find out the causes of environmental pollution from a large number of excess batteries of electronic devices. And find the most effective and optimal solutions to handle them. As project manager, we will provide the entire schedule and activities of the project to reduce the harmful effects of e-waste in general, and excess batteries in particular to the environment.

Title of project: Finding out the impact of Excess Batteries on the environment and the solutions to treat them.

Main Aim of the project  The purpose of project is create Excess battery treatment system to reduce enviroment polution from Excess Battery of electronic devices. So the aim of this project is to finding the impact of excess battery for environment, then we can apply advanced technologies to replace or extend the life of excess Pin to handle it. Objectives  Excess batteries are more quickly sorted using the battery sorting system.  Old batteries will be recycled and extend their lifespan to save fossil resources while making batteries.  Research and create environmentally friendly, long-life batteries to replace old, outdated batteries with short lifespans.  Some battery storage methods will be introduced to preserve the quality of the battery for longer use.  Create a small application to customer care who experienced new types of batteries.

In this report, we will present a demonstration of our research that we already made in front of the directors of the organization. The results should be analyzed, and suitable recommendations should be made as a result.

Included in the report should be:  Logbooks, lessons learned, project results, and project process  For accuracy and authenticity, a critical examination of the selection of acceptable research instruments and procedures are required.  A critical assessment of the project management strategy and processes used in the project

II. RESEARCH ANALYSIS (P5)

As a project manager, I must understand the impacts of e-waste in general and the harmful effects of excess batteries in particular on the environment and come up with appropriate solutions to deal with large amounts of excess batteries. Excess from electronic devices is dumped into the environment every year. The amount of waste from excess batteries is increasing year by year, which requires an increasing number of challenges and possibilities to come up with solutions to deal with this excess battery in order to quickly respond to creating a green environment. Clean, beautiful, protect the health of all species. In order to understand the effects of excess batteries and come up with the most suitable plan to deal with them, I had to conduct a qualitative (Quanlitative Research) and a quantitative (Quantitative Research) survey from my team members. and stakeholders. In this part, I used the survey form is based on Google Form in assignment 1 to conduct the survey and give some results in about each person's perception of the current state of the environment, and analyze the environmental pollutants of excess batteries. In addition, it also evaluates which recycling method is the most optimal and effective for disposing of excess batteries. The results below will be displayed graphically for Quantitative and Qualitative Research.

Below are the results collected about the ages participating in the project

Figure 1: Chart for Age  The age distribution of the students participating in the survey will be provided 0% under the age of 18, 76% between the ages of 18 and 22, 20% between the ages of 23 and 33, and 4% over the age of 33. The results of this study, we will know. The age group 18 - 22 participate in the survey a lot and they care a lot about protecting the environment. However, the number of survey participants under 18 years old, as well as t over 33 years old, is very small. This shows that the majority of survey respondents are of college age and are interning at company concerned about the effects of excess batteries on the environment.

 As the above results, Laptops and Phones are the most commonly used electronic devices, with statistical data of 100% and 96% of users respectively, followed by mice accounting for 88%, followed by Smartwatch and Bluetooth Earphone accounted for 56%, and finally Radio only accounted for 8%. This analysis shows that the density of users using electronic devices containing batteries inside is very large.

Below are the results obtained after the survey related to the current level of environmental perception of team members

 According to the data from the above chart, we can see that the majority of young people feel that the current environment is not good. Specifically, more than 44% of people rated the environment at level 3, 28% of people rated at level 4, 20% of people rated at level 2, 8% rated at level 5 and 0% assessed at level 1. From that, it can be seen that young people are becoming more and more aware of the worsening changes in the environment.

Below are the results showing each person's responsibility and sense of environmental protection.

 From this chart, we can see that young people's awareness of environmental protection is very low. Specifically, the number of people agreeing to dispose of excess batteries indiscriminately into the environment accounted for 44%, which is not a small number.

The causes that excess batteries cause environmental pollution collected from team members are shown in the image below.

Below are the solution suggestions to deal with the excess battery of the team members.

 According to the collected data about solutions to dispose of excess batteries, we can see, Recycling is the most effective and optimal way to dispose of excess batteries from electronic devices that are widely used by people. most recommended.

 This is the final response to the survey, we can see that the most optimal excess battery recycling method is hydrometallurgy with 64% of people choosing, followed by Electrolysis with 24% of people choosing, and finally heat treatment method with 12%. Profiles of Respondents:

For all businesses that wish to keep centralized control and planning over the projects they manage across many departments, Microsoft Project (typically is Excel ) is the ideal tool. For us, this program has been absolutely essential because it has enabled us to keep things organized when planning and performing activities and because it has also produced data for study, particularly quantitative research, which is vital to finish a certain project. The application of this tool is extremely helpful for me since it does not place a restriction on the number of questions. To prepare the survey's questions, I must first create a list of the survey's questions. It has also grown to be a crucial tool in our marketing department because it allows me to organize the project, give each employee a task to complement the project, see which tasks they have completed, and obtain a big picture of my performance and where my project is headed. With the use of this program, I am able to keep tabs on the tasks that my team members are working on, identify the individuals who are falling behind in job completion, and view Gantt style charts that help me determine my project's growth or decrease trend more precisely.

2. Interview and survey accuracy evaluation

It is vital to consider who this inquiry is applied to in order to produce the most logical and accurate findings. I surveyed all project team members, the world's leading battery recycling experts, and stakeholders during this interview. Below are the answers from 2 team members and 1 expert on the problem of handling excess batteries related to today's young people's awareness of environmental protection, providing an analysis of the effects. the specific behavior of excess batteries on the environment and the best way to recycle them.

Respondent 1: One member of the team said that today's young people's awareness of environmental protection has decreased a lot. Along with the development of the digital age, young people today are gradually dependent on electronic devices. They only know how to glue their eyes to the screen of smart phones, laptops, etc all day without feeling about how their surroundings have changed. When they sit in a public place such as a park or sidewalk to eat and drink, but after eating, they throw garbage indiscriminately on the street without putting it in the trash next to it. Moreover, when walking on the road, they always ignore the garbage at their feet and walk past it. It is these consciousnesses of today's youth that have contributed to the environmental pollution affecting humanity.  Respondent 2: Battery experts analyze and confirm that excess batteries can contaminate land, water, and air if they are not disposed of properly. Batteries are a popular energy storage device not only today but also many years into the future. However, inside it is also a "mine" of toxic chemicals. Used excess batteries from electronic devices cannot be considered ordinary waste. Because they contain a lot of chemicals that are harmful to health. If not classified, proper disposal process will become a hazard to the environment and human health. In batteries, there are often heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadminum, lithium and arsenic, etc. all of which are extremely toxic and dangerous to the brain, kidneys, heart and fertility of humans. The amount of mercury in the battery is very large, if it gets into the water, enters the body through eating or breathing, it will damage the brain, kidneys, reproductive system and cardiovascular system, etc. Lead (Pb) in batteries can disrupt or stop normal biochemical reactions in the body. In particular, breathing in dust containing cadmium (Cd) in the battery will lead to respiratory and kidney problems, which can be fatal. Usually, when the battery is still worth using, we have a habit of throwing garbage indiscriminately or putting them in the household trash like other types of waste without careful sorting, so that the garbage collection plants will dispose of them in two common ways: Landfill or incineration. If buried, these heavy metals seep into the soil and groundwater, contaminating water sources. Or when burned, the hazardous components in the battery will rise into toxic smoke specific is Cadmium(Cd), or the toxins will be deposited in the ash, polluting the air, and increasing CO and CO2 in the environment.  Respondent 3: The battery expert believes that hydrometallurgy is the most efficient and optimal method to recycle excess batteries. There are 3 main ways to recycle excess batteries including electrolysis, hydrometallurgy and heat treatment. Of the three methods, electrolysis is the most environmentally friendly, hydrometallurgy is the most effective in recycling excess batteries because it can recycle 80-100% of the waste battery's material. After hydrometallurgy, lithium-ion can also be stored to create a new environmentally friendly battery. The heat treatment method is the most

recycling process. However, the current amount of excess batteries still cannot guarantee the full response that a redundant battery handling system needs. In particular, if the system continues to be maintained, there will not be enough maintenance costs, so the system will not be able to survive for long on a large scale.

On a positive note, we can partner with the world's leading battery recyclers to source materials from their factories, while also meeting their maintenance costs. its own system. According to the above proposal, it can be seen that the treatment of excess batteries by recycling has played a small part in reducing the impact of e- waste in general and excess batteries in particular on the environment.

Based on the basis of difficulties and a number of things that have not been done well, a number of solutions are proposed to improve the excess battery treatment system. Below are some recommendations for dealing with difficulties and bad things as follows:

Human resources

In order to reduce environmental pollution, each member in particular, as well as each person in society in general, must raise awareness and responsibility for environmental protection by simple methods including communicating with each other about the effects of environmental pollution. Some tips to upgrade the work performance includes:

Have clear feedback: Before giving an employee a reprimand for not putting in enough effort, give them as much information as possible. Tell them if the quality of the work they perform is dropping drastically. Communicate what needs to change, how the person should adjust their approach to work, and the time the company gives them to turn things around and improve performance. Sometimes, all they need is a push in the right direction. Listen to disagreements

Communication is a two-way conversation and managers should be prepared to listen to employees' perspectives. Is there a reason for the change in work attitude? The subordinates no longer put much effort into the work because they are not satisfied with something. Exploiting the root cause of all problems is paramount. Address company-wide concerns: If an employee points to a concern that could affect more than one person, make sure it is addressed. If a person feels he is overloaded at work, it is possible that others will feel the same way. A good way to deal with this situation is to immediately hold a meeting with representatives of relevant departments to discuss the company culture: How do they want to improve these issues and the employees on their team can How can it be done? Make it clear at the beginning of the meeting that this is an open discussion, and employees are free to voice their grievances without fear of repercussions or consequences.

Emphasize that the real purpose of the meeting is to find a solution to every problem, not an occasion to find someone to fire. This collective approach will make employees feel that they are valued and part of the overall growth of the company – individual self-motivation. Find out what employees work for: It's hard to lead someone if you don't know what they're up to. Take the time to get to know your employees better: Long-term goals and aspirations and where they want to be in their careers within one to three years. Sometimes an employee's lack of commitment stems from feeling underappreciated, or conversely,

being entrusted with too much work at once. The only way to overcome this is to have an understanding of the people involved. Such valuable information will ensure that your employees are assigned the right roles and responsibilities. Set performance goals together with employees: Outlining the performance goals an individual must achieve is important. Ask employees how they want to improve, what they want to achieve, and what new skills they need to learn. Inviting employees to a specific level of commitment motivates them to work harder and strive to perform better.

Follow up: A good manager will always follow his employees closely. Once you've set your goals, make sure you keep track of your progress. If you ask someone to complete a task by a certain date, make sure he completes it on time. Successful leaders hold their employees accountable. Most people will appreciate this work model and respect the manager's due diligence. Showing an interest in an employee's work can also significantly enhance a company's culture and morale. Recognize and reward progress: One of the effective ways to change disengaged, uncommitted employees is to ask them to improve the quality of work, then don't forget to reward them if they have better efforts and progress. Be sure to recognize these achievements in time and congratulate your employees for changing the way they work. Continue to provide performance feedback and reward employees appropriately financially to increase motivation and make them more accountable. Regularly using simple statements like “thank you” or “well done” can also take things a step further. Seriously tackle repeat inefficiencies: If an employee consistently exhibits poor performance, the manager needs to formally address the behavior. This will let employees know that the boss takes this matter seriously and will not tolerate attitudes that are not conducive to the group's performance. Furthermore, sometimes other hard-working team members will become lethargic and lethargic if they see individuals working irresponsibly without being reprimanded. Know how to end at the right time: Letting someone out of the business is never a good thing and it is considered a last resort. But if an employee continues to flout the rules, underperform, and create negative effects, cut back. Employee retention is not complete

Legal procedures

To expand the scale of recycling excess batteries, as well as provide new batteries to users, the first thing we need to do is carry out legal procedures with the approval of government law. Before starting the construction of the system, the investors should fill out the notice of groundbreaking according to the form of the ward People's Committee. In addition to the notice form, it is necessary to prepare legal documents before starting construction, including the following documents: Business license; Construction contract; Construction permit; Labor contract of the construction commander with the company; Decision on appointment of construction commander; Workers' accident insurance; Relevant professional qualifications; approved drawings; Permit to use the pavement; Pile pressing contract and registration license for works using presses, detailed design for works on 3 floors; In addition, the investor should ask the construction contractor to erect warning signs for occupational safety and the name of the project. These issues affect the construction progress of the work that needs to be prepared in advance.

Time Management

It is essential to create a detailed work plan with a start time, end time, and assign particular duties to team members for a project in order to implement a proper workflow. But because the nature of the work puts so much strain on people, I made the decision to give my staff two days off on the weekends and, concurrently, to plan a vacation once a month to relieve tension and foster joy and excitement begin in each employee's task. Some ways to improve time management skills include:

Define job: In a project, tasks are defined at different levels. First, the highest level work requirements are set, then broken down into small tasks/activities and assigned to the Project Team member. The high- level work is divided into activities and presented in the form of WBS (Work Breakdown Structure).

Order of work: To manage the project's time, it is necessary to determine the order of priority tasks, which is important to do first. When arranging, it is important to note that the tasks are dependent on each other, arrange them in a reasonable order and have as little influence on each other as possible.

Estimate resources for the activity: Estimate the amount and type of resources needed for the work on the project. Depending on the number of resources that allocate time for different activities. Therefore, the project management team needs to have a clear understanding of resource allocation in order to correctly manage project time.

Estimated time and motivation: This is one of the most important steps in the project planning process. Because time is difficult to estimate, in this step, be as specific as possible about the time it takes to do the job. For this step, there are many ways to estimate, so the Project Team should choose the one that best suits their project. Most companies choose to use either WBS or Function Points to estimate. After completing the estimates, the next important step is to determine the total duration of the project. As this is one of the important inputs for project time management.

Outline the schedule: To create an accurate schedule, it is necessary to have some parameters from the previous steps. The sequence of activities, the duration of each activity, and the resources required for each activity are the most important factors. If you do this step manually, it takes a lot of time, causing waste. So now there is a lot of software, such as Microsoft Project, that will help in developing a project plan more accurately and faster. Also, it is advisable to draft a Gantt Chart, as it is part of the calendar. The program is used to monitor the status of activities and important events.

Schedule management: There aren't any projects that roll out without changing the original schedule. Therefore, updating the project progress is very important to be able to adjust the project accordingly
