An established travel company needed a website that could showcase things for the purpose of promoting their excursions and taking online orders. Because the company is so tiny, it only promotes a few excursions. As an administrator: ➢ I want to add tours to the website so that customers can choose more. ➢ I want to remove low order tours to update new products. ➢ I want to delete and update the tours with few guests to update the new list for guests. ➢ I want to access customer account information ➢ I want to delete the account information of customers who have not visited the website for a long time As a customer ➢ I want to register as a member to receive the latest notifications. ➢ I want to login to use the full utility on the website. ➢ I want to update my personal information to my account. ➢ I would like to see a list of tour details that I need. ➢ I want to know how much to pay for a travel to pay for that product. ➢ I want to order online so I don't have to go to a travel agent. ➢ I want to delete the tours that I have added to the cart.
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are guidelines for web content that were produced by web developers, authoring tools, and accessibility assessment tools. This means that websites, tools, and technology are designed and developed with disabled people in mind. It enables people to perceive, comprehend, navigate, and interact with the Internet, as well as contribute to it. It's also useful for people without disabilities who have "situational limitations," such as being exposed to direct sunlight or being unable to hear sound.
➢ Visual hierarchy Visual hierarchy is the arrangement of elements in order of importance. This is done either by size, colour, imagery, contrast, typography, whitespace, texture and style. One of the most important functions of visual hierarchy is to establish a focal point; this shows visitors where the most important information is. ➢ Content An effective website has both great design and great content. Using compelling language great content can attract and influence visitors by converting them into customers. ➢ Grid based layout Grids help to structure your design and keep your content organised. The grid helps to align elements on the page and keep it clean. The grid-based layout arranges content into a clean rigid grid structure with columns, sections that line up and feel balanced and impose order and results in an aesthetically pleasing website. ➢ Load time Waiting for a website to load will lose visitors. Nearly half of web visitors expect a site to load in 2 seconds or less and they will potentially leave a site that isn’t loaded within 3 seconds. Optimising image sizes will help load your site faster. ➢ Mobile friendly More people are using their phones or other devices to browse the web. It is important to consider building your website with a responsive layout where your website can adjust to different screens. Guidelines for web design ➢ Establish a web page format: You'll need to determine the type of website you're creating. If you have an e-commerce website. It will be focused on product debuts, have a high level of consumer interaction when it comes to purchasing, and visitors will be able to contact the Shop via the information on the landing page.
