1.COMMUNICATION AS A HUMAN ACTIVITY -People communicate to meet their needs. -Communication is done during reflection to oneself, between two people, among the groups or between one person and a big group of people.

3.COMMUNICATION IS BOTH VERBAL AND NONVERBAL -Verbal: makes use of words. It could be oral or written. -Nonverbal: Does not use words for it is about facial expressions and body movements.

4.COMMUNICATION IS BOTH AUDIO AND VISUAL  Audio- uses sounds to communicate.  Visual- uses aids such as pictures, drawings, illustrations and graphic organizers, like charts and tables.

LINEAR  (^) It is straight-line communication found typically in mass communication; television, radio, newspapers, etc. According to this model, there is no means for immediate feedback.

TRANSACTI ONAL  (^) Face-to-face interaction  (^) Receiver and sender can play the same roles simultaneously, as sometimes happens, as messages can be sent back and forth simultaneously.  It could be chaotic and ineffective due to simultaneous communication.

GROUP ENRICHMENT CREATIVE

ACTIVITY (GECA #1):

The groups will be assigned to explain one model of communication

through STATION ROTATION. Each group must assign 1 member to explain the model in 3 minutes for each group of audience. After that, the teacher will do the signal for the audience to move to their second station. REMINDERS: -Put the model of communication on a manila paper. -1 member will explain the model, another 1 will hold the manila paper then the rest of the groups will be the audience for the presentation of other groups. -Audience shall jot down notes for there will be question and answer after the activity.
